Start with length and height
Measure the full boundary and decide how high the wall should be. Corners and gates change the number of components you need, so mark them on a sketch.
Look at the ground
Slope, soft soil and water logging affect the foundation. A wall that is fine on flat firm ground may need a different design on a slope. If you are unsure, ask an engineer.
Compare wall types
Precast panels held between poles go up with limited on-site fabrication. Masonry walls are built in place and allow more shape flexibility. Light fencing with poles and wire costs less but gives less privacy. Each has a place, and the right one depends on your site and budget.
Plan gates and access
Decide where vehicles and people enter. Gate openings need strong end posts, and delivery trucks need space to reach the site.
Ask for what you need in writing
When you enquire, share boundary length, height, gate count and location. A supplier can then give a realistic list and confirm availability.
